This ice cream is so yummy. Definitely worth the effort. As I know some people would never dream of making their own ice cream, and inform me that Im nuts for making my own lol. They just couldn’t imagine why on earth I would bother lol. So this is the reason I started with WORTH THE EFFORT lol.  I’m not a huge raspberry fan so next time I make this Im going to use strawberries as I prefer strawberries. Oh and strawberries are sooo much cheaper too, another good reason to swap to strawberries

Lemon Is one of my favourite flavours, sweet or savoury. I absolutely love lemon season. Even if Im not cooking with lemon, Im happy with lemon in my water.

I ended up with a large amount of lemons given to me this year which was amazing. And I’m not sure what variety of lemon they were but they were the best lemons ever. A really thin skin with not a lot of pith. And the flavour was not as sour as what they normally are. I’m thinking maybe it was a lemonade, Lemon tree. I want one!Continue Reading

These are sooo easy but look just a little bit fancy for jello. I have used whipped coconut cream on top of this jello, but normal whipped cream or ice cream would also be delicious. Now if you see a jello recipe on here and occasionally see the word jelly instead of jello, I do mean jello. Remember I’m from Oz and in Australia we call jello, jelly and we call jelly, jam.  So the first time someone said to me peanut butter and jelly on bread, I was thinking “now thats just wrong” lol.. Who doesn’t love fresh strawberry cheesecake YUM!

Well I loved it. But as usual I will give you my unhealthy husbands opinion. He said it would have been better without the fresh strawberries in it and he would have prefered the strawberry coulis swirled through it and drizzled on it  instead. Which is no surprise the coulis contains sugar lol, which is why he loved it. And this in the only time you would see a fresh strawberry go near his mouth (swirled through a cheesecake lol) YES its true in the 16 years I have been with my husband I have never seen him eat fresh strawberries. Continue Reading
